1. Why do i get "Office Xp Sp3" listed as recommended "critical updates" when
i have office professional 2003 installed on my computer with windows xp home?

2. I doenloaded and tried installing office xp sp3, but it fails and asks
for file PROplus.msi ? How can this be corrected. Have tried "detect and
repair" in Office but no gain.

Hi G.K.,

If you have any MS Office XP or MS Office 2002 version apps listed in add/remove programs in the Windows control panel (Word 2002
from MS Works suite is one possibility) you will be offered the Office XP core updates, and you may need the CDs for those products
to complete an update.
