i am trying to download IE 6 with outlook express...I get
to 83% installed , then get a message that this software
did not pass the XP logo test...It is Microsoft? and
won't install?

If you are running Windows XP, you already have Internet Explorer 6. If you
need to get/apply SP1 for Internet Explorer 6, then you need to apply SP1 to
Windows XP. (IE is considered integrated and the only way to get the latest
revision of IE is to apply the latest service pack to Windows XP.)
