If Character is number sum 1

Hi, I’m a VB Developer in Excel, but in Word I don’t have a clue, could
someone help me?????
How to tell VB to chek the firs carácter of my document and if is number sum
1, and if is 9 changes to 0, then goto next character and do the same with
all the document
