If flash good or bad on this site?

Do you mean Flash in general? That would be purely a matter of opinion. I
can tell you one thing: The Flash intro that you've used on the site does
nothing for it. Why? All it does is show an animation of the name of the
site. It doesn't do anything to draw people in. As an advertisement, it
sucks.

Stand out in what way? It won't help you with the Search Engines, if that's
what you mean.

Take a look at Google. No Flash, no bells and whistles. But it's one of the
most popular sites on the Internet.

Form follows function. What do you want your home page to do? It should all
be about drawing traffic to your site. Keeping people there who have gotten
there by one means or another. Inform people succinctly what your site
offers that they want.

Content, Products, Specials. Isn't that why people go to an E-Comm site?

imho it serves no purpose other than wasting 12 seconds for the home page to open,
which then opens and immediately refreshes.
( not counting download time for the flash )

Let the user go directly to the store or have links on this page to get directly to each product
category, if you must have this splash page.

What advantage do you think you will get from having each product category as a subdomain?

You may run into issue with SSL and the passing of session variable across them, etc.

What I saw looked GREAT to me - OH, I forgot to tell you, like millions out
there, I have flash turned off, so all I saw was a blank page!! I'm also not
about to turn it on far a website I don't know!!

I did not look but if it's a spash page with no content it's bad.... SEO
wise (search engine optimzation) .... that's all you really need to know.

what does it have to do with the digital mall?
it is kind of pointless. it would look more pro to delete it.
having flash for no reason makes your decision making look weak.

It is not possible to get a virus, worm, trojan horse, adware, or spyware
via Flash.
