If you send a message to the wrong person can you pull it back?

I sent a message to the wrong person. Is there a way to pull it back so that
it doesn't go to the wrong person?

Not really - and it would probably be too late by the time you post this and
ask for a reply.

IF you are on an Exchange server with the recipient, open the sent item,
options and recall it.

And even then it does not work reliably.
