ignore all list while spell checking

I want to use Word for spell checking in an other application. The
application generates a Word document, let Word do the spell checking and
reads back the result (using VBA).
In the text are a set of words, which are not in the dictionary but correct.
These words are known in advance. While spell checking I have to click
"Ignore All" many times.
Are there options to configure the spell checker, that it knows these
special words in advance? And as an extra issue: I'm using CheckGrammar, not
CheckSpelling.

Thanks
Rasmus

Hi, Rasmus,

I don't think you can do anything about the grammar checker, but you can
certainly add your known words to a custom dictionary. Since this is just a
plain text file, you can use some other application to add the words. The
"official" Word method of editing the custom dictionary is at
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/EditCustomDic.htm.

Hi Jay,

Thank you for the answer. The CustomDictionary method works fine.
