In the duration column you can input the duration as elapsed days. As an
example if you wanted the task to run 7 consecutive days you would input...
7ed.

Hi

You can create a calendar template and set all days as working (define the
hours to suit)

You can use this calendar as a project calendar
Go to Project > Project Information and select the calendar from the drop down

However, this will only suffice until you assign resources and then their
calendars will over ride that setting

Alternatively, apply the new calendar to one or more tasks...

Double click the task and go to the advanced tab

Select the new calendar and tick the "scheduling ignores resource calendars"
box

This will enforce the new calendar settings with or without resources
assigned.

I hope this helps

Hi Chris,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

If you mean not showing nonworking time on the Gantt Chart calendar, then
you can't. Sorry :(

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
