Hi
Can you help me with the following?
I already have data in Excel with the proper formulas, but the management
want me to do same in Access. Here how it looks in Excel
1) I have the data with Id's and I created on the last column the formula that
checks the ID in col A and if finds ID=1,then changes it to 1A,if finds 2
then takes number from col B, any other case provides same Id I have in
column A. I named this column New Id
Then I have the second data base with Id's and other data and it simply
vookup for the new ID and provides me the information I am looking for. This
part is easy in Acces because I can do querry. But I am having the problem
with part 1 of my work
How I can create the column with new ID in Access?I tried IIF but it didn't
work, so probably I am doing something wrong
