IIS 5.0 and FPSE 2002

I am having a problem with the FrontPage server
Extensions 2002.
I am running IIS 5.0 and Server Extensions 2002 on a
Win2k box with SP4. The Extensions had been working for
about 6 months, but suddenly they do not work anymore. I
have tried using the sharepoint administrator to
recalculate the hyperlinks, tried using IISState to find
a problem, and even reran the extensions setup and
choose 'Repair'. But after all that when I make a new
subweb, or publish to existing webs (that worked before)
i get a message telling me that some components will not
work because the server does not have frontpage server
extensions installed. Yet, everywhere i know to look,
tells that the extensions are working fine, any
suggestions?

Did this problem start after you applied SP4?

The problem did not start after applying SP4.
That's what I find so confusing about this problem, there
has been nothing installed or changed recently. If i had
installed or reconfigured something, at least i would
have a point to begin. Also after viewing the event log,
i find this error coming from FrontPage 5.0:
"Microsoft FrontPAge Server Extensions:
Error #240016 Message: Usage processing failed to
complete normally."
