IIS Error 401.2 from Project 2003

Hi I get this error on a new installation of Project
Server 2003, when i try to connect to it from Project 2003:

HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to
server configuration.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

- does unyone know how to avoid this error. I have tried
different settings on the IIS but ended up getting
VBScript errors on the web interface as well, which works
fine btw.

Any input greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Are you runnning Windows Sharepoint Services on the same server. If you
do, you need to go WSS administration and exlcude /projectserver virtual
directory from WSS managed path.

No I'm not running Sharepoint Services.
