How do I know if I have this installed? I'm running XP pro with FP2002 - and
am trying to figure out the ins and outs (and if I can even do it) of
php/mysql and asp ... and when reading some of the Microsoft pages, it says
that in order to use asp - you have to have the asp engine installed - and a
32bit ODBC driver ....

any help? I think I'm in way over my head :)

Pam,

Windows XP Pro includes IIS 5.1. It's not installed by default, you'll have
to run Add/Remove Programs | Add/Remove Windows Components.

Under Windows Pro, when you install IIS, you will have the ability to run
ASP by default. To see if IIS is installed, check under Add/Remove | Windows
components.

However if you have Norton Anti-Virus or Personal Security, the ability to
run ASP is block by the default setting blocking scripting.

As for running PHP and MySQL you will not find any info on MS (that I am
aware of) regarding these two items, also the FP database components will
not work with these.

Depends on the server OS. If your site is hosted on that XP
box you are using 5.1. Nt4 =0, Win2000 (NT5) =5.0, Win2003
= 6.0
