IIS will not run ASP pages

M

Mike Bukaty

I have installed IIS from the XP Pro SP2 disk. There are no extensions (I've
been through this several times to try and isolate the problem with and
without extentsions).

The IISHelp pages will not display since they start with an ASP page. I have
tried loading several of my WEB sites. As long as they do not contain an ASP
page, they present as expected.

All firewalls are turned off. I have tried putting IE6 to its lowest
security settings. I've run out of tricks to try. I've used 'localhost', the
computer name, and the full domain name and get the same rsults.

I'm at a complete standstill until I get this resolved since I need to ASP.
The customer does not want .NET at all.

Does anyone have a clue to what might be going on or where to look for the
problem?

Thanks
