Hi,
I have a friend who is using Outlook 2002. Currently he has no service
packs installed. I recently set up two profiles for him and his wife so that
they could have their own contacts, email address, inbox, etc. Both profiles
work, but they are having a small problem switching from one profile to the
other. I we start outlook and choose the husband profile, it works fine.
Then if we close outlook and open it again using the wife profile, we get an
error from the Visual C++ runtime telling us that Outlook had performed an
illegal operation and would be shut down. After Outlook has been shutdown,
if we start it again and choose the wife profile, it works fine. We have
this problem every single time we close outlook and try to start it with the
other profile. It always takes to tries to get into the other profile. I
plan on upgrading them to SP3. I was just wondering if anyone knew if SP3
will fix this problem, or should I investigate further?
