I'm clueless

Nic

I need help! I don't even know if this is possible, but my boss has asked me to create document (sales contract) that will allow the user to chose specific blocks of text through out. For example, the header may always stay the same but then when the user gets to the "services included" portion of the document, they can chose (from a drop down menu) which description to include. The descriptions would be pretty long so I don't think i can use auto text. Please help!

You could look at "Forms Drop down text box" and see if that does what
you need. Turn on Forms tool bar and paste in a Dropdown box and add
entries under properties.

thanks for the suggestion, but that only lets me type in a few words. I need to type complete paragraphs.

Have you "Googled" for "forms creator" or something similar. There are a number
of packages available designed to do what you are asking. If the boss is that
demanding he should be willing to shell out the (insert your monetary unit)s
needed to get a proper solution.

What Office version are you using? If 2003, you can try InfoPath (although
I have not checked to see if it can do all of what you want, it may be able
to.)
