I have not used FP2K for a while, but I don't remember ever having this
problem before, and now I have it - BIG TIME
If I point to an image while building a page using the INSERT Image
function, then BROWSE my directory to l;ocate the image, the image will
display fine if it is a JPG image, but if it is a GIF image I get the
familiar box with the red X.
I have tried absolute addressing, relative addressing, even uploading the
image to my site and hard coding the actual
IPaddress/dir/subdir/filename.ext. In each case I get some variant of the
above problem, sometimes the image appears in the EDIT page but not in the
PREVIEW page, other times it will appear in the PREVIEW, but not in the
NORMAL or EDIT views.
Please! What am I forgetting to do with a GIF? again JPG files seem to work
just fine.
