image differences from one computer and another

I have a problem with a word document. when i print it
out, the document is perfect on other computers. but on
one computer the image overlapps the text on the same
document.

does anyone know if this problem can be solved thru the
settings on the printer or through the settings on the
word program itself.

A sure sign of a damaged or out of date printer driver. Make sure that you
have the latest printer driver, delete your printer and reinstall it.

Yes, printer drivers for networked printers are still installed on your
computer.
