image locations when publishing an imported website....

Steve

I imported a site which was created for me by a third party service provider.
Once I imported it, I attempted to publish it to a new domain which I own.
However, when I did so, the image locations were all set to be on my local
hard drive. This means that only I can see the images when I launch my site
in explorer; no one else visiting my site can see my images.

Is there a way to automate the change of the image locations so that when
you publish the site, the image locations change accordingly??

Thanks,
Steve

Importing is not recommended. You should try to http: publish from the
remote web (if they have server extensions installed) to your local pc to
preserve the image links.

Otherwise, you must use File | Import to bring the images into your local
web site before inserting on the page and saving.
