In the print layout view of a word document I received as an attachment through MS outlook, the white page image extends past the grey ruler (that represents the page width) at the top of the screen. This affects the entire document, even after I change to a new template with auto update, but no other documents using the same template. A4 portrait Paper size is selected and the grey ruler correctly represents the width of A4, and the margins (the white 'triangles') are set well within the area of the grey ruler. when I print from this file, the area outside the grey ruler, where the image of the paper extends is added to the actual set margin, so my column of text is too narrow on a real A4 page.
How can I rectify this?

Presumably Word 2002 or 2003 with Track Changes enabled?
