Image problems

I have copied and pasted pictures into table on page on
FP 2002 local web in Windows XP pro. The pictures work
fine on the local web. The file structure for the local
web shows _borders, _private,Common, Morris_files, etc.
The Morris_files contain filelist.xml which shows:
<xml xmlns:eek:="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice">
<o:MainFile HRef="../Morris.htm"/>
<o:File HRef="image001.png"/>
<o:File HRef="image002.jpg"/>
<o:File HRef="image003.png"/>
<o:File HRef="image004.jpg"/>
<o:File HRef="filelist.xml"/>
</xml>

These are my images that I need. However, when I attempt
to Publish, the folder Morris_files does not show up in
the box. I can see the files in wwwroot/website, but the
file folder does not show in the Publishing box when I am
going to Publish. Needless to say, my images are not
found on the the page(infamous "x") on the www website.
How can I work around this? Also the website server does
not have FP extensions if this matters.

Thanks for information.

I'm sorta having the same problem. One of my images (my up button to the top of the page) doesn't seem to be working. Where there should be an image, there is nothing and I don't get it. It works fine in front page and under the browser in preview mode. I've tried changing the name and changed it from a gif to a jpg file. I tried to republish that one image, resave it back to my images folder, making sure it was correct. I've tried just about everything. I honestly don't know why it's not showing up. Everything else shows up fine, so it doesn't make any sense to me

My host does support front page extensions, that's why I used them. So I don't know the problem.

If the Morris.htm page was imported (with the associated images in the folder Morris_files) and you have Windows Explorer set to
handle files as Pairs, the Morris_files folder is a thicket and you won't see it in FP (it is being managed as a pair)
To stop managing files as pairs in Windows use Windows Explorer Tools Folder Options View and select Show both parts and manage
individually

I did not understand how the Morris_files got created. I
have worked around the problem though. Originally
information was sent to me via email. I copied total
email (pictures embedded-not attachments) into Word 2003.
Then I copied text from Word 2003 into FP 2002 page and
then pictures. These XML files were generated. These
files could not be published because do not show up in
the Publish box.

I went back and copied pictures directly from email into
folder. Then I inserted pictures into FP 2002 page. I
don't need the xml files now.

Does the problem somehow stem from using pictures in Word
2003 (Office 2003) and FP 2002?

They were created by Word
(the images in the word page were embedded and when you copied, the embedded images were also copied as a thicket)
