image quality

After sitting with my purchase for a couple months, it is finally time
to start producing the next quarter's newsletter.

I am getting very poor printed quality for a very small, crisp B&W image
that I have used previously in Powerpoint and it came out very sharp. I
even tried saving it as a .bmp but it didn't improve. Any suggestions?

Go to menu View > Pictures > Show > Detailed Display

It is already on that setting. What else?

Check the settings/options for your printer.

If this is an EPS picture file format, the picture will only print the low
resolution display, unless you are printing to a Postscript printer.

There are no known issues printing pictures from Publisher.

Thanks, that was it. I keep my printer set to fastest (draft quality)
settings. When I changed it to best, it looks fine.
