copy/paste or print. How do I protect the photographs?

If you want people to see them you can't ... other than to make them low
resolution or watermark them.

If people can see anything in your webpages, then they already have them on
their computers - look in the browser cache folders
for images.
As Dennis said, the only defense you have is watermarking or low resolution
images.
