Image won't appear when I use "insert photo" command button

The images I select (jpeg/jpg) won't appear in my Office Word 2007 document
when I use the "insert photo" command button I located in my tool bar. It
worked at one time and would insert photos that were inline with my
document, but no more. Any ideas?

Hi Christopher,

If, after the insertion, you're seeing empty boxes where the pictures should go, go to Word Options|Advanced > Show Document Content
and uncheck 'Show picture placeholders'.
