Images Continuously Scrolling to the right in a loop sequence

I want to create an opening slide that will have 2 rows of images. The top
row will consist of 6 images, same size, in a row with now space between
them. THe bottom row will be the same but different images. I want the top
row to continuously scroll to the right and the bottom to go to the left. I
have prepared the top row of images but every animation that I try - the same
thing happens. The pictures start going from left, they get to the right
side, it stops, hesitates and then starts again. How to I keep it going
without any hesitation? Thanks. Kerry

What version of ppt are you using?
For ppt XP and above, you can use motion path to do so.

1. Group one row of pictures together, pull them out of the slide (for eg:
left side of the slide) so that it won't be visible at the start.

2. On custom animation, select motion path > Right. Increase the length of
the motion path until it reaches outside the slide. (take note when you auto
preview, you should see that the group of pictures will mvoe to the right
then completely out of the slide)

3. Lastly, go to the properties of the motion path animation > timing and
click on repeat until end of slides. Uncheck smooth start and smooth end if
you want the picture to move consistently.

Depends on if you really, really mean continuous or can settle for just a
long time.

You can add multiple motion path animations to the same picture. So ....
you can create the animation of the 6 pictures scrolling to the right
followed by the same six pictures again scrolling to the right. You can
repeat this series as much as you want, within reason of course. I noticed
some problems when there where more than 2000 custom animation sequences on
the slide.

So, by adjusting the timings of the delays and such, you should be able to
create a repeating effect that lasts for 30 minutes or more, but not
forever. To advance out of the loop, before it is completed, just hit the
advance key, or type the slide number and enter to jump.
