Images in Outlook emails looks terrible or scale up too big

Hi - Everytime I insert an image into an Outlook email, the image quality
degrades with speckles, artifacts and grain or it is scaled up larger than
the original image file and looks too big. What is going on in Outlook or
Office to mess up my images this way. I just want to be able to send an
image in the body of the email and have it look like the actual image,
attaching an image is not an option beause the images are part of a step by
step guide.
