Images inserted into Word 2000 disappear from saved file

I still have not solved this problem. Does anyone have any other
suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions Cyber and Garfield. I checked and tried them all
with no luck. My settings were consistent with those suggested and I am
saving as Word6.0/95(*.doc). Any other ideas?
