Images loading problem in PowerPoint

Hi,

I have a presentation with the image (jpeg format) of a map inserted
into the slide. The image has many colors , so every time I open the
slide or click anywhere on the slide in order to format
picture( resize/crop), the image trie to reload and takes forever.

If , I open the same presentation on my laptop, I don't face this
problem and the problem only happens fro my desktop.
