Images not displaying in edit mode

I have a machine running XP and Office 2003 (all updates) and with any power
point file, the images will display in the tiles on the left and in slideshow
mode, but they will not display when editing a slide. I have tried
reinstalling with no change. The files work fine on any other machine.

Any ideas?

Usually installing SP1 for Office 2003 takes care of these oddball "pictures
missing" issues. Since it hasn't this time, I'd suggest lowering hardware
acceleration.
