Images not showing until I let up on scrollbar

I realized today that in word documents with graphics, the images aren't
showing until after I let up on the scrollbar on the right side. With a
larger document, I like to scroll down quickly and view the images, without
having to let up on that scrollbar. Is there any option I can check/uncheck
to get these images to display automatically?

This is an indication of a display driver that cannot handle the
requirements of Word (which imposes heavy demands on the driver). Update the
display driver and/or reduce its hardware acceleration.

OK I've had problems before (not related to this) when I used an updated
driver, so I rolled back to the OEM original adn its been fine. I can always
roll back again, so I'll see what ATI's newest will do to my laptop this
time.

Thanks.

Nope. I installed the latest from ATI (after meticulously uninstalling the
old one, rebooting, etc) and the problem persists. When I look at the same
file when I've saved it as an .xml, it displays fine. I know in the other
thread you said to forget it, but for large files like this I think I'm gonna
stick with saving this way.
