I need to insert 82 images into 82 different slides. Does anybody know any quicker way to do this than importing each one individually?

PowerPoint has a photo album option (but does have some limitations with the
way the images are inserted). If using PPT 2000 it is a free add-in from MS.
If using PPT XP-2003 it is built in (INSERT >> IMAGE >> PHOTO ALBUM). Not
sure if there is an option for PPT 97.

The better solution is to an image importer like Corporate Imaging's
Import/Export tool (http://www.corpimaging.com/powertools/pt-im-ex.htm).

Hi Troy,

Of course, if you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that
the Photo Album feature in PowerPoint should have some additional
capabilities, don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
