Howdy all,

I have the following problem: I'm opening a popup window showing an
image. It works properly. After having the mouse positioned a short time
over the image, the so called "ImageToolbar" comes up. So far so good.
What never comes up is in the lower right corner the small button to
resize/fit the image into the window.

I've checked my IE6 settings and I'm not using the meta tag to disable
the ImageToolbar.

But, when I open a PDF-file, and then reopen the image - it's a JPG file
- then the small button - I don't know how it's called - comes up, and
the image will automatically be shown in the right way; it fits into the
window.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Stephan

The resize button only shows if the image is currently being displayed at a size that is
larger or smaller than it's actual size.
If it is displaying at "actual" size then there is no resize button.

Ok, the first time the image will be opened it does not fit into the
window. The resize button will not be displayed. I've checked it again.
When I open/close a PDF-File and reopen the image show before, the
following happens:
1. it will be resized to fit into the window (that's what I want)
2. the resize button will be shown (even what I want)
But why does this happens only after having opened a PDF-File?

Thanks.

I've done this, but the result is still the same. Is there any other way
maybe the same way disabling the ImageToolbar?

OK, let me get this right.

You open an image in IE and there's no resize option.
You then open a PDF that contains an image and the resize button shows.
You then close the PDF and reopen the first image and IE now displays the resize button.

The resize button comes up after the PDF file has been closed; not
within the image embedded in the PDF file.

The steps from the beginning listed below (I have double-checked this
with a friend of mine on a different machine):

1. opening an image (in this case a JPG-file); the image does not fit
into the window; imagetoolbar will be shown; no resize button
2. opening an PDF-File and closing the PDF-File straight after opening
the file
3. reopening the image of step 1.; the image than fits into the window
and both the imagetoolbar and the resize button will be shown
