IMAP and font / fraction issues

howdy

a couple of issues we are struggling with:

IMAP

running kerio server 6.1.3 on OSX 10.4.5

all clients are using IMAP via entourage 2004 for mac

often there appears to be sync issues between webmail and the IMAP
folders in entourage... sent items in webmail do not show up..... and
sometimes items that have been read in webmail first do not appear in
entourage (yes i have "updated list" in entourage).... it often helps
to rebuild the database... but this is time consuming (both the
rebuild and the subsequent remapping of all of the IMAP mail boxes +
messages)

any thoughts/ solutions/ workarounds would be greatly appreciated as
this is proving to be time-consuming + very frustrating for all
involved

also

we have a client who sends un emails using some sort of font that
contains fractions

however.. on our side... when we get the email... the fractions don't
show up as fractions but as weird/ funky characters... so instead of
3/4" we get ≤†... which... as you can imagine... is not hugely
helpful... as we don't know what the orig fraction was/is

HUGE thanks in advance for any help/ insight anyone can provide

Press Option-Command (Apple)-L to repair the message list. If that doesn't
work, Control-click the Drafts folder in the Folder List, and then click
"Empty Cache" in the contextual menu that appears. That sometimes does the
job and doesn't require a rebuild.
