IMAP Deleted Items folder won't empty

I'm having a little prob with Mac IMAP, the deleted folder has 7 emails in
it that won't delete. How can I fix it without doing a total rebuild and
recreating all my IMAP folders?

What versions (email and Mac OS) are you using? If you are running OS X and
they are stored locally check the file permissions of those messages.

Also, you can try renaming the folder (and create a new trash/deleted
folder) then delete the renamed folder.
