Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Email Client: imap Hi,

I have set up many IMAP folders before, all work fine, this time I am hosting my email through Business Catalyst.

I set up my email, and when i open entourage the email address item is there with the subfolders Inbox, Deleted Items, Drafts, Sent Items and Junk E-mail. WHen i click on anything other than Inbox, they dissapear.

Now if i re-subscribe to those folders they come back, but if i click on them they disappear again... Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Regards
Rebecca

I suspect this may well be a database problem - try rebuilding the
database by holding down the option key when starting Entourage until
you see the rebuild screen.

If not, it may well be something that 'Business Catalyst' is doing that
is not following the standard IMAP format. Does this happen with other
IMAP accounts in the same database?

Like most MVPs, I am responding to your query through the public
newsgroup channel (NNTP). Microsoft is planning to close the public
newsgroups which would effectively disable this channel and may affect
the number of answers that are given. Please post any concerns you have
about these plans in this newsgroup so we can forward them on to
Microsoft.

One other thing to check is to be sure you have the Root folder set in the Accounts under Tools in the Menu bar select the account and click on the Options tab. Enter [IMAP] or whatever Business Catalyst suggests. They should have a setup page.
