IMAP errors - cant see all email reply text

Outlook 2003 configured for IMAP email. Some emails do not
show the reply text message, though it shows just about
everything else. School tech support recommended changing
email options to download complete items, including
attachments. This did not help. The school is using Sun's
OneMessenger Express email service.
