imap folder not showing recepient

I am trying to use outlook 2003 to check an email server using imap. I want
all the sent mail to stay on a folder on the server as well. How do I 1.
Configure outlook to use my folder on the server as the sent folder instead
of it's own? 2. All the emails in that sent folder currently show my name
instead of the recepient name. How do I change it to show recpient name?

Thanks

Instead of? You don't. The best you can do is create a rule that copies to
the IMAP Sent folder, which will leave you with a copy on the server and in
the Outlook Sent Items folder (which you can manually delete from time to
time, if you like).

Add the address you want with the field chooser.

Thanks for your help. I figured out a work around to stop using the default
Sent Mail folder. I set up a rule to copy all mail I send on the IMAP account
to be copied to the Sent Folder on my IMAP server and then unchecked the box
in Outlook that allows me to save sent messages. So now I don't need to clean
out the sent messages and I get a copy in my sent folder on the server. Now I
just have to make it not mark the messages moved to the sent folder as new
messages, which I am assuming can be done through a rule as well.

Good luck. I don't think you'll find a way to do this (since, as far as the
server is concerned, the message _is_ new), but if you do, great.

Basically, the message is being displayed with the IMAP Message View. This
indicates where the message was from. In this case, it is from your own
account. You need to change the view to Sent To. Do this by selecting
Tools|Organize. In the Ways to Organize box, select the Using Views tab.
Scroll down in the Change your view: scrolling list and select Sent to. This
should do it.
