IMAP - Send/Receive is freezing every 250 headers

Hey

The subject pretty much sums it up, Outlook XP just freezes every 250 headers it gets from the Server and waits a while then to continue getting another 250 headers. It's not everyone having these problems, only some. I'm totally lost on this one, does anyone have an idea on what is going on here? :

I don't recall ever seeing a setting that controls how many headers Outlook
requests for an IMAP account. I just created one to check and I still don't
see any.
