No, you need either IMO mode or upgrade to 2002/2003.

Thanks. But neither 2002 or 2003 supports net folders right? I know net
folders has nothing to do with IMAP but we use net folders to share a common
calendar. Does 2002/2003 support net folders?

If I went to IMO mode and stayed with 2000, what would I lose in terms of
functionality versus Coporate/Workgroup mode?

Correct, no net folders. What features of corp. are you using? It has better
fax, but for the most part, IMO is better for non-exchange, non-msmail use.
See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/choosingmode.htm for more information.

Thanks. I see that IMO does not allow for multiple profiles. That would be a
problem.

So, a quick comparison yields:

Outlook Version IMAP Multi-Profiles Net Folders
(shared calendar)
2000 CW no yes
yes
2000 IMO yes no
yes
2003 yes ?
no

IMAP isn't so important right now but multi-profiles and NetFolders are.
Guess I'm stuck with OL2000.

Yes, multi-profiles within one windows logon requires corp mode. Both
2002/2003 do support profiles, but not netfolders.

Are you just sharing calendars on netfolders? Do you have a broadband
connection? Both yahoo and hotmail (coming this fall) support syncing and
sharing calendars. Yeah, it seems silly to sync across the internet, but
it's less buggy than netfolders and provides access to the calendar from
anywhere.
