Imbedding the filename for version control

For business project management purposes, I would like to have the filename
appear on the printed version of a presentation as can be done in Quark,
InDesign, and other desktop programs, but not appear in the slide show .
Therefore, putting the filename in the header/footer is not an option. It
would be ideal if the file name also imbedded and updated automatically.
