Immediate receive, delayed send

Dear all,

is it possible to create email settings such that incoming mail appears
instantly but outgoing mail is held in the outbox for 10 minutes before
being sent. As far as I can see send/receive are set simultaneously.

I don't know, but I'm not going to start a bunch of
searches without knowing the Version of Office Outlook.

You can set up a rule on send to delay the sending of the message.
