Import a large series of Excel cells into separate powerpoint slid

I have a question and answer bank (for a course I'm teaching) of several
thousand questions with answers, which is organized vertically (questions in
one column, answers in same row in next column). I would like to import each
question into an individual powerpoint slide, have a link to the answer and
be able to sort the files at random. Can I do this without doing a thousand
cut and pastes?

Thanks

thats interesting. I can think of a couple of ways. But i need to ponder on
this question a bit more. Can you answer some questions:

1) Are the questions and answers simplistic or are they collegic paragraphs?
2) Any reason you think powerpoint is the best way for you? I mean are you
planning to have graphics or pics or something in each slide and relevant to
the question and answer?
3) Did you indicate that you wanted to convenience to reorganize the
questions depending on the issues you are using them for then rebuild the
power point again?
4) Have you thought about converting your spreadsheet listing into a
database and then using the msaccess to generate a similar looking
presentation?

be awaiten for your response......

PS: send me an email to [email protected] when its time to look at
your reply herein....

You might want to post this into the PowerPoint newsgroup.

I know there's an addin called PPTMerge that might help with this, but I
don't know that it will let you do a random sort. Someone there will have
ideas, though, I'm sure.
