Import a schedule - sync with actuals

Hi,

When I use the wizard and import a schedule, I get a
message box asking if I want to synch with protected
actuals. When I click Yes, all my past actual hours and
dates are reset to 0 and NA. (We are importing old
project schedules.)

How do I import a schedule and retain the history? Is
there a setting to turn on or off where the project data
populates the protected actuals for importing instead of
the other way around?

Before you import a project, you must ask your Project Server administrator
to disable Managed Time Periods temporarily. Once this is done, import and
publish the project. Afterwards, your Project Server administrator can
enable the feature again. Hope this helps.
