Import address book to outlook

I'm using outlook 2000 and win xp. I create address book
(.wab) on xp and want to import it into outlook. But in
outlook, I can't import it. I can't find option for .wab
file, what a surprise. Can anyone explain what's the
problem?

Your post is not consistent with reality.
No version of Outlook uses a WAB.
Clarify the software you are using. Only Outlook Express uses a WAB.

The *.wab file you created can be access via Outlook Express and form
outlook express you can export into outlook
