Import Appointments into Outlook 2003 via excel data file...

I am having a bit of a weird issue...

I have exported calendar data from lotus notes 5 into a Tab Delimited file.
I have then edited this file so it has become an excel file format. I have
then imported the file via the Import and Export feature in Outlook 2003, and
it imports all the records and details except for 1 field. The meeting
organizer.

OK... since the data is correct in the MS Outlook Calender, why not export
the data into excel and look at the header row. So I did this and noticed
that the meeting organizer field was blank. I populated this field with the
correct data and tried to import it...

NOPE... Meeting organiser is still blank.

I can not get the person who created the meeting to be imported into
appointment.

Considering there are 2000+ appointments to import... manual data entry is a
painful option at this point...

How can I get the meeting organiser field populated....? HELP.
