Yes, I had (or thought I had) archived contacts to a pst file. I
called
it
'Contacts.pst'.
:
It sounds like the PST file you're using is in fact one of your
archive
PSTs
(is it called archive.pst?), and Contacts are not archived. You' need
the
actual PST that your content was delivered to in order to retrieve
your
Contacts or--in the case of an Exchange server that isn't using
PSTs--you'd
need access to your mailbox to export them.
Thanks for the response. I tried the steps below. When I open the
pst
file,
the active folder in Outlook becomes 'Archive Folders', and none of
my
contacts from the .pst file appear (?).
The problem I was having before was with the 'Import and Export'
wizard.
Since I cannot see the contacts from the pst file I just opened, I
tried
the
wizard again. When I get to the point where I need to select the pst
file,
I
get the following message: 'This Personal Folders File (.pst) is
already
in
use in the current profile'. Where would it be 'in use'? I cannot
see
the
contacts from this pst file. This is very confusing.
:
File, Open, Outlook Data file - then move or copy them to the new
contacts
folder.
What trouble did you have with import?

I've tried to import a file of contacts that is stored in a pst
file,
but
I've had some trouble. What are some ways to import contacts from
a
pst
file?
Thank you for your help!
