Import Custom Header Information from Excel

I need to import data stored as a custom header in an excel worksheet. When
I import into Access I get all of the data from the worksheet except I do
not get any header information. Is there anything I can do to the original
file short of cutting and pasting the header information into a cell on the
active worksheet that will allow me to import the info from the custome
header. Thanks

When you say header are you talking about field names that are against the
columns of data in Excel. Example:
LastName FirstName Address etc. --->column header names in Excel
YourLN Your FN 123 Some ---> data against column header names.

If this is what you are talking about, then when importing ensure you check
a box called something like:
First row contains column names.

If you are talking about Title Information such as:
3rd Quarter Sales for XYZ Company
As of suchandsuch date

Then, no this will not import.
