Import data from Excel or Access to a textbox in a webpage

Learning as I go
I’m making an illustrated parts list that will run on multiple laptops.
I would like to make a database with all the part numbers and then have the
proper part number appear in a textbox when a person clicks on a part that
they want to order.

From reading posts I know that if the site is on a server it needs to be
running IIS but since this is running on individual laptops can it be done.

I'm using frontpage2002

Hope this makes sense

If the laptops are running Windows XP Pro or any version of Vista that
supports IIS (Vista Home Basic does not ) then it can be done.
The website will need a webserver to interrogate the database, display
results and store order information.

An Access application might be an easier solution.

I take it vebsite and vebserver mean virtual..
So I should be able to use the data resource in frontpage to do this with
Access.
Thanks for getting back to me

I mean a real Website and Web server. The laptops must be running a
Windows OS that supports IIS, and the database and associated pages must
be in a website on the laptop. The laptop will be the web server.

Windows XP Home or Vista Home Basic will not work since they do not
support IIS.

It's just going to be running on individual laptops and not connected to a
server.
Looks like I need to figure out another way of doing this.

IIS is a webserver. Each laptop will have its own installation of IIS.

As I said, an Access application may be the easiest solution.
