"import data" not on visio plan menu after activation

I'm trying to import data from a spreadsheet into a Visio 2003 space plan.
The option to import data does not appear on my Visio 2003 plan menu. I
assumed that the product was not activated and tried to do that. I got a
message that says the product is already activated. I also tried an update
from the CD but all options appear to be already installed. Any suggestions?

on my system it is tools => addons => building plans => import data
what version are you running, most of that funcitonality is in the
professional version.

I'm using 2003 Pro. All the documentation I could find said that the import
data function was on the "plan" menu. I guess it's either a documenation
error or I was just looking in the wrong place. I appreciate the quick
solution!

I believe there are some specific drawing types that display a Plan menu,
but Import Data is available for any drawing using the path Al mentions
below.
