Import DBase 5 Table

I'm trying to import a DBase 5 table with an index. I get an error of "index
not found" Does anyone know where the .ndx file is stored or how to get
around the error?

how should we know where you have your ndx or mdx files on your
harddisk?
it should be in the same directory as the original dbf was.
