Import Error from Task Update using Outlook

[FMC TOM]

We are using Project 2003 and are collaborating through Outlook.

We can successfully request project information and the reosurce recieves
the email.

The resource responds with updates to hours worked, but when I click update
project', I keep getting the following message:

An import error occurred. Check row XX column -1. (where XX is the task
number).

Where is column -1? The error does not make sense. In addition, it fails
to properly update the project after clicking no in repsonse to 'To continue
importing with no errors, click no'

Any help resolving this is greatly appreciated...the email tool is a
critical tool for the project managers.
