import EXCEL hyperlink into ACCESS 2007

I have a series of EXCEL 2007 spreadsheets each with one column of hyperlink
data. Not all rows in this column contain a hyperlink, but the majority do.
When I use the TransferSpreadSheet to Import the contents into a formatted
ACCESS table, the details ofthe hyperlink are missing. ACCESS recognizes and
hyperlink, but th eaddress to the pdf file is gone. Any suggestions? The
ACCESS database is used to gather all of the EXCEL spreadsheets that we use.
There are no forms or other input other than thru ther EXCEL spreadsheets.
